Certified Installer

We're certified to install what you choose

The Metal Roofers are a certified, authorized installer for the manufacturers shown on this page. Choose the product and color you want, and we take it from there. The manufacturer confirms our certification, then we source and install exactly what you picked. We're certified with more brands than we list here, so if you have a specific product in mind, just ask.

Profile Showcase

Slate Profile

On a slate roof, the profile and the colors come from the manufacturer. We carry three metal slate products, each built and finished its own way. Pick a color under any product to see that panel in that finish.

Modern Metal Roofing · Metal Slate Series

Modern Metal Slate

Modern Metal Roofing's slate profile, stamped from steel and also offered in aluminum for coastal work. The finish is the same powder coat over a Kynar paint base used on their shake, electrostatically charged and heat-cured into a hard, granulated surface that holds color without granule loss. Offered in the same twelve colors as the Modern Metal shake.

ProVia · Metal Slate

ProVia Metal Slate

ProVia's metal slate stamps galvanized steel into a dimensional slate profile, with a printed and stamped finish so panels read like quarried slate at a fraction of the weight. The GalvaTec finish resists fading, chalking, and corrosion, and each color pairs with coordinating trim. Five colors.

Profile Showcase

Shake Profile

On a shake roof, both the profile and the colors come from the manufacturer, and we carry five. They are built in different ways: powder-coated steel, stone-coated steel, molded polymer, and printed-and-stamped steel. That changes the texture, the weight, the color range, and how the finish ages. Pick a color under any product to see that panel in that finish.

Modern Metal Roofing · Metal Shake Series

Modern Metal Shake

A 24-gauge steel panel stamped in a dimensional wood-shake pattern, also offered in .032 aluminum for coastal jobs. It comes in two finishes: a smooth painted finish, or Modern Metal's patented powder coat applied over a Kynar paint base, electrostatically charged and heat-cured into a hard, granulated surface.

Unlike stone coating, the powder coat bonds directly to the metal with no adhesive and no ceramic chips that can dislodge, so it holds its color without granule loss. An HD highlight treatment lays a second tone over the base for added depth.

What sets it apart The only powder-coated option, and the most finish flexibility: smooth or powder coat, plus HD highlight color pairings.

DECRA · Shake XD

DECRA Shake XD

A 26-gauge ZINCALUME (aluminum-zinc alloy) steel shake with an extra-dimensional profile built to mimic thick, hand-split cedar. The finish is ceramic-coated stone granules over an acrylic basecoat and primer, sealed with a clear overglaze, so the color sits in the granules rather than a printed layer.

DECRA's Cut and Tuck hidden-fastener design installs direct to deck and leaves a vented airspace behind the panel that adds insulation and helps with ice damming. Panels are walkable and will not crack, curl, or split.

DaVinci Roofscapes · Multi-Width Shake

DaVinci Multi-Width Shake

The one composite in the group: a molded polymer shake, not metal. Tiles are cast from real hand-split cedar in five widths (9, 8, 7, 6 and 4 inch) and laid in a non-repeating pattern, with deep grooves and grain that read like wood up close.

The material is virgin resin with UV and thermal stabilizers and a built-in fire retardant. It carries the widest color range here, more than 50 shake colors that can be blended into a custom mix, with an optional Renaissance finish with Kynar for extra UV protection.

What sets it apart Closest to real cedar, the widest and most blendable color range, and the only non-metal option. Installs in cold weather, below 45F.

ProVia · Metal Shake

ProVia Metal Shake

A 26-gauge galvanized steel shake, up to 30 percent thicker than comparable metal panels and about three times lighter than asphalt. The cedar look is a printed woodgrain finish accentuated by stamped graining, built from tens of thousands of surface impressions so no two panels read the same.

ProVia's GalvaTec finish resists fading, chalking, corrosion, and algae streaking, and a deflective coating keeps the surface cooler. Each color pairs with coordinating solid or decorative trim. Made in the USA from domestic recycled steel.

TEK Industries · Hurricane Metal Shake

TEK Hurricane Metal Shake

TEK Industries' Hurricane Metal Shake is a stone-coated steel shake built for severe weather. Crushed-stone granules are bonded to a Galvalume steel base for the texture and color, over a profile stamped in a deep wood-shake pattern.

It is an exposed-fastener system that installs direct to deck or over battens, with a patented two-pound-density foam insert behind each panel that adds rigidity and dampens rain noise. TEK lists it as tested to ASTM E1592 at Category 5 wind speeds and rated to two-inch hail. A coastal upgrade adds an encapsulating resin backer for salt-air homes.

Tile Profile

Tile gives a roof the look of Spanish or barrel clay in steel, coated or stone-coated. It is far lighter than real clay and rated for high wind and hail. We carry four manufacturers, each with its own profiles, finishes, and colors.

DECRA · Stone-Coated Tile

DECRA Metal Tile

DECRA stone-coats its steel tile in two barrel profiles: the lower-relief Tile and the deep S-curve Villa Tile. Both are ZINCALUME steel finished with ceramic-coated stone granules. Pick a profile, then a color, to see that tile.

DECRA is stone-coated steel: ceramic granules bonded over a ZINCALUME base, not a painted coat. Villa Tile Chestnut is made to order. We bring physical samples in your top colors before anything is ordered.

ProVia · Coated Steel Tile

ProVia Barrel Tile

ProVia stamps 26-gauge steel into a cascading Spanish-barrel profile, then finishes it with a Kynar 500 ceramic matte coat and a resin topcoat. Tongue-and-groove panels lock together over hidden fasteners, with no exposed screws. Pick a color to see the tile.

Worthouse · Coated Steel Tile

Worthouse Metal Tile

Worthouse stamps its tile in three profiles, each in German galvanized steel finished with their color-infused Noble Matte coating. The profile sets the shape; the color range differs by profile. Pick a profile, then a color, to see that tile.

Profile Showcase

Traditional Shingle Profile

The traditional profile lays steel shingles in standard horizontal courses, so the roof reads like dimensional architectural shingles up close while performing like metal. We carry two, each built and finished its own way. Pick a color under either product to see that panel in that finish.

GAF · Metal Roofing System

GAF TimberSteel

GAF's metal shingle, formed from Galvalume steel that pairs steel with aluminum and zinc for corrosion resistance. Panels interlock along their edges with a butyl seal and nail down with a standard coil gun, so an asphalt crew can install it in roughly half the time of standing seam. An embossed grain breaks up the surface to limit oil canning, and the field shingles are rated UL 2218 Class 4 for impact. Available across Tennessee in eight colors.

DECRA · Stone-Coated Steel

DECRA Shingle XD

DECRA's stone-coated steel shingle, pressure-formed from aluminum-zinc alloy coated steel and surfaced with ceramic-coated stone granules sealed under a clear overglaze. Thick-cut edges and deep shadow lines give it the dimension of a heavy architectural shingle at about a pound and a half per square foot, light enough to often install over one existing layer. It carries a Class A fire rating, a UL 2218 Class 4 impact rating, and a lifetime limited warranty covering winds up to 120 mph. Four colors.

Profile Showcase

Traditional Shingle Profile

A traditional metal shingle lays flat to the roof in courses, the way an architectural asphalt shingle does, rather than standing up in a shake or barrel. It reads clean and dimensional from the street and sits naturally on a standard residential roofline. We carry two, built two different ways: a coated-steel shingle with an embossed grain, and a stone-coated steel shingle with thick-cut shadow lines.

GAF · TimberSteel

TimberSteel

GAF forms TimberSteel from 24-gauge GALVALUME steel, an aluminum-zinc coated steel built to resist corrosion. An embossed vertical grain gives it the dimensional look of architectural shingles and limits the oil-canning that flat metal can show. The shingles interlock top and bottom with a butyl seal and nail down with a standard coil nailer over a plywood, OSB, or plank deck at a 3:12 slope or steeper.

It carries a UL 2218 Class 4 impact rating, the highest level, with ASTM D3161 Class F wind resistance and TAS-100 wind-driven rain approval. The ArmorPledge Limited Warranty runs 50 years on the material and 30 years on workmanship when installed by a GAF Metal Certified contractor.

DECRA · Shingle XD

DECRA Shingle XD

DECRA forms Shingle XD from 26-gauge aluminum-zinc alloy steel, then finishes it with ceramic-coated stone granules over an acrylic basecoat and primer, sealed with a clear overglaze. The color sits in the granules rather than a printed layer, and the panel is pressed with thick-cut edges and deep shadow lines that read like a heavy architectural shingle.

Hidden fasteners and an interlocking course install direct to deck and leave a vented airspace behind the panel that adds insulation and helps with ice damming. It is Class A fire-rated with a Class 4 impact rating, and carries a lifetime limited warranty, a 120 mph wind warranty, and 30-year finish coverage.
